Hall Place Passive Horsemanship

Passive Horsemanship lessons at Hall Place stables offer a comprehensive introduction to Western riding whether you are a skilled or a novice rider. We offer our students the opportunity to learn western riding properly, on well trained western bred horses, to a level where they'll feel confident in riding horses independently anywhere.

The advantage of our passive horsemanship programme, lies in the natural explanation that any horse needs its rider to make a dependable communication, by simply responding quickly and passively. It's only then that a horse can come to admire its natural ability to tap into the human mentality.

The difference about learning to ride through passive horsemanship, is not in the name. Most experienced riders believe that in the way they ride, they have already achieved it. The real difference, is only determined when your horse truly believes, by displaying a forgiving nature, that you are trying to ride passively.

Private or group lessons or trail rides are available through the week, Tuesday through Sunday.
Passive horsemanship clinics are held throughout the year on the first Sunday of the month which can be directed to your particular needs, individually or as a group.

All lessons and clinics are personally supervised by Brian Sinnett the Hall Pace stables proprietor who is WES approved and a UKCC Western Riding qualified instructor. He is supported in his equestrian enterprises by his family who have developed their equestrian operation over the last twenty five years. Today, the family operates their equestrian teaching enterprises and DIY livery business, as an extensive farm diversification at Noverton Farm, Prestbury, Gloucestershire. The farm is an interesting working farm to visit with medieval manor and herd of Hereford cattle plus an extensive grass conservation enterprise.

Hall Place stables is conveniently situated within the farm just three miles from the centre of Cheltenham, and only one mile from the famous Cheltenham race course at Prestbury Park. The stable facilities look down from the Cotswold escarpments, which are surrounded by the farms two hundred acres of rolling grass land. The facilities, scenery and premium quality teaching on offer make Hall Place an ideal venue for anyone interested in improving their horse riding.
